Did not say you would have to buy a hard drive, that adds $75-$100+ to the value, and it does not say it does not have sound. Easy hook up, not to bad on the controls other than no remote. With some added products like motion sensors, & the Hard Drive it is an OK system. Might consider a more expensive unit that comes with these features and cameras to actually save some money in the long run if I had to do it again.

This is a great system with a lot of the features that you need but not too complicated. It was easy to set up and we were up and running very fast. The image quality is very good and the features are easy to use. This is great for someone who wants to set up a surveillance unit without much hassle. Great value for our money.
