Wish I would have had an iPod from the get go
My husband had bought me about 3 years ago a no-name mp3 player. That is broken already and was always a nuicance to deal with. That is the perfect example of spend a little bit (just a bit) more money from the beginning and one would have an easy to use, quality product that I have now with the iPod. And there are so many features that I have not even used it to capacity. Even without reading a user manual it is easy to operate. Reading the user manual though makes this gadet unlimited. I also like the usage of the iTunes account. So should I ever loose it or it breaks I don't have to start all over again--how I had to do now from upgrading to an apple product.

Apple iPod nano 8GB Refurbished
The iPod works, however, the cost for the refurbished ipod wasn't much less than the cost of a brand new one from Apple during the holidays with all of the deals that were going on, plus it comes in an unmarked box with no instructions. I would recommend buying new for a little more $
