You say you want a revolution
I held out on buying an iPod. I don't need fashionable gadgets. I drive an Intrepid. The paralegals liked my modesty. I'd pull into the parking lot at Freyd, Arnett and Festinger. I'd see the other partners' BMWs, and think, "I'm practicing law for the right reasons." Now it's just Arnett and Festinger. The other partners forced me out. I showed up for work one day, with my breakfast donut. But my office was empty, and the desk was totally bare. They'd confiscated everything, to prevent me from stealing. A security guard escorted me off of the premises. I was furious. I'd *made* them equity partners. But I left quietly, and ate my donut in the Intrepid. I had no urge to sue Arnett and Festinger. I couldn't do anything, couldn't even get out of bed. My daughter was worried, so she bought me an iPod Nano. I spent a week converting my CDs to mp3s. Then I made a list of every good album I could think of. Timeless stuff: the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen. I bought music on the iTunes store, until I reached 8GB. Now my iPod Nano is filled to maximum capacity. After the coup, I didn't go back to work. I'm "early retired." I garden, and go on long hikes. I listen sequentially to every song on my iPod. First the A artists, then B through Z, and then I start over. I never skip anything. I'm fair to all of the songs. I don't load new content or take anything off of my iPod. 8GB of music should be enough for the rest of my lifetime.

Nano for Nephew
I bought this for my nephew but wasn't sure if I should buy a new one or a refurbished one. I'm glad I ended up buying this one and saving myself some money. When I opened it up, you couldn't even tell it was refurbished at all. I kept the packaging and receipt just in case I needed to return it, but my nephew was quite pleased with it. He has been listening to it ever since I gave it to him and thanks me every day for his new Nano. I know I can always count on the quality of the items I buy at Overstock, even if they are refurbished and I get to save some money, especially on electronic items. I haven't had any problems with items I've bought from Overstock. Thank you!
