I bought this item for a Christmas gift for my 21 yr old daughter whose 2nd generation Nano is showing signs of approaching death. This was my first experience with Overstock.com, but considering the excellent price on my comparison shopping, I decided to risk it. It was a risk well worth taking. The package arrived quickly, well packaged, and everything was intact. The capabilities of this Nano are unbelievable. It has good memory, the touch screen capabilities are very responsive, and it has some cool capabilities (like the fact that it can be used for a radio reception as well as playback of downloads - your headphones act as the antenna!). We pretty much love everything about it - but do have one concern. It is extremely small and very thin. I could see it getting lost in papers on a desk even. I wouldn't get this for anyone that is not very responsible and can appreciate the importance of caring for it appropriately! But if your very good at keeping track of things, and you can figure out a good way to "put a leash on it", I would say you won't be disappointed!

Frankly I think they've gone a bit far with the size. It's so small that, without the ear buds attached, it's conducive to loss. The playing card size was more easily handled and fit perfectly well into a shirt pocket. The flicking technique takes some getting used to, but when finally mastered, is pretty neat. Love having the FM radio, which gets great reception in even the most remote locations. It's too small though, it's bordering on the ridiculous.

I bought this iPod Nano as a gift for my boyfriend. I charged it up and put some music on it for him. He puts it on and less than an hour later, the iPod was dead. Other than that, the item appeared to be in perfect shape. The clip was put on the iPod wrong which is the reason for it being refurbished, I think. You clip it to your being the way it is, and it's backwards. I am returning the iPod and will spend the extra money to buy one out of the store....O.com is great but when it comes to birthday gifts, I'll never buy from them again. I don't want to take any chances.

I checked with Overstock wether the refurbished ipod I am buying is refurbished by the manufacturer and was told yes. But it is not. It was sent in a plan cover with usb cable and headphone lumped together without any protection and without any apple packaging. I have bought apple refurbished products before from the apple site and they come with similar packaging as the regular ones, product neatly sealed with all new accessories and manufacturer's warranty. But this clearly is not. I am not sure what the warranty on this is. I bought this as a gift and was too embarrassed to give it as a gift in the condition it came in. My advice is if you are looking for an ipod you can buy new one or even a refurbished one from apple site for not much more than what Overstock is selling for. I regularly have good experiences with Overstock purchases, but this clearly is a miss.

Wonderful deal if you don't need it hot-off-the-assembly-line new or in all the fancy Apple packaging.

The Nano came in great condition, no signs of prior usage. Easy to navigate and set up. It came in about 1 week with standard shipping. I would definitely buy a refurbished item again, it was a great deal.

I bought this for a gift for a friend and she loves it. Although it came with no paperwork, I spoke with some directly and they sent it right out. NO COMPLAINTS.

It arrived in plenty of time and was in great shape. Looks brand new. It was a gift and so far its working great. No complaints at all.

The ipod nano works great, my daughter loves it and has had many hours of enjoyment with it since Christmas! Great buy, fast shipping, worth every penny!
