This is my second MP3 player but my first iPod. I do like the navigation wheel a lot as well as the shake feature and the iPod seems more intuitive than my iRiver. It is very thin and light too which feels good in the hand. I held out a long time before buying an iPod. Two years ago, I felt they were way too expensive and came with fewer features than the iRiver. But now I just got tired of all the accessories being geared toward the iPod so I decided to buy a refurbished iPod so I wouldn't have to pay the big bucks. I knew I was taking a chance, but I also knew that Overstock would stand behind it. I have to say that I am very pleased with my pretty little yellow iPod. Go for it!

My 8yo daughter wanted an iPod for her birthday. It was a lot cheaper to go this route than to get a 5th generation from Target or Amazon. She's been happy with it, doesn't miss the camera feature, etc... After two months of almost continuous use, it's in great shape, and the fact that you can buy a protection program inexpensively through overstock was a big factor in my purchase since I've already destroyed two iPods and I'm a fairly responsible adult.

But I wanted the yellow one I ordered, not the purple.... Bah! I suppose I'll keep it.

I wanted something that was easy to operate. I am at times technology illerate! This iPod was just that - easy to operate once I read and followed the directions. One suggestion is that you might indicate that the directions are accessible online and they are loaded onto the iPod. I screwed up and erased these as well as a calendar that was pre-loaded on it. I love my iPod and the sound is wonderful especially when hooked up to a couple of BOSE speakers.

This Ipod came very promptly, and in excellent condition. Although it did not come with instructions, it was easy enough to Google everthing I needed. The sound is great, the controls are easy and once you get the hang of Itunes, putting songs on it is simple. I thought about other players because I didn't want to mindlessly buy into the Apple mystique, but after my girlfriend got one, I saw what everybody was raving about. I'm glad I followed suit.

I purchased this and it appeared to be like-new, however it stopped working about two weeks after I got it. My first iPod (which I bought new) has lasted more than 2 years and in fact is still working almost like new (the click wheel is a little wonky). I will think twice before buying refurbished again.
