Quality of manufacturing is very good - no imperfections. Perfect fit for the 3rd gen iPod touch. Very slim. Feels great, although the danger of slipping out is still there (silicone cases are probably better, but,don't look or feel as great as this). The insides are softer definitely, but, will not protect if dropped. This primarily protects against surface abuse (scratches, dust). The case marries very well on the edges of the iPod when looked at from the front of the iPod - so, it doesn't feel like an ugly add-on to the beauty of the iPod itself. Comes with a standard transparent screen protector that fits perfectly well on the iPod screen. Have looked at some of the more expensive and exotic cases, but, glad that I settled on this. It's not an eye-turner, but, definitely does not bring down the esoteric value of the iPod itself. Snaps on easily. Haven't tried to take it out - but, should come off easily as well without scratching the iPod.

I purchased the magenta cover. It snaps right on, and the color is so vibrant. The screen protector is very easy to apply. The cover fits tightly, and I would definitely recommend this cover to anyone who has the 2nd generation ipod touch.

i used this case when i ran on the treadmill and i dropped my ipod...case broke but protected my ipod. very good case
