I was a little hesitant a first about purchasing this iPod because of the price. Needlees, to say I bought it anyway because I needed something to listen to a work. I think this was this best purchase that I made so far on Overstock. The iPod is small enough to fit in my purse so I can always have it with me. When watching videos, the picture is so clear and the screen is wide enough that I don't have to squint. There are so many options for you to choose from in how to find your music and play it, its amazing! The games are nice, and it's also nice to be able to add pictures and your contact lists so they are always with you. I love, love, love my iPod.

I am so frustrated. I got this in the mail. I ordered it as a gift and it was scratched to pieces. Obvious screen scratches. It was only $50.00 cheaper than retail!!!!!! If I had sent this with out inspecting it, I would be horrified--at least now, I can run out and purchase one from a retail outlet. Seriously consider the $50.00 difference and go with a new product--or even a smaller version. This is not an item that refurbs well particularly because of the manufacturer recognized problem with screen scratch issues.

This item was very disappointing. Item had many scratches on it and the battery was broken. I bought the 60gb model. I had to return the item which was a bit of a hassle. I cannot understand how this product could be sold as 'new' refurbished condition. This was clearly a used product. I returned it and bought it in new condition elsewhere. The product should be sold as 'used' items and for $100 less than the new price.

Item arrived packed in a small white box. Unit had be clearly buffed to remove scratches on the case. When I entered the serial number in Apple's site there was only four months left on the warranty. Apple would not update the warranty to the purchase date because Overstock is not a Apple dealer. Overall this is not a good value based on the condition of the unit and the lack of warranty. I would like to return the unit for a refund

I purchased this for travelling overseas. However, I had problems on my first one, my second one and my third one. The first on I got was pretty good; it looks new. However, after a few hours of playing around with it, it froze. My second one was horrible, it was scratched all over; looks like someone tried to sand the scratches down. My third one froze on me. I am a bit disappointed, as this was my only bad experience with overstock. Customer services was pretty good though, they were able to help me with my returns.

I baught this one in Nov 06. Its been frozen for 2 months. The other 2 I paid full price and ha no problem with apple when one froze up apple took it back on the spot, an gave my son a new one. This one I have to pay 29.95 postage to have them look at it and "maybe" it will be replaced. Its not worth the savings. Its the only bad experience with overstock. in all fairness I was offered tech support through os live chat today. This is a hardware issue.

The ipod I bought from overstock.com was obviously an open box item, however this was never mentioned in the description. I would be very cautious about buying this item from here. If I had the option to do it over again, I would go with an authorized Apple retailer and not Overstock. However, this product is great and the price was very competitive at the time I purchased it. For the month I have had it, there have been no problems with the unit.

Arrived in perfect condition AND charged. No scatches, looked like new. I prefer reconditioned since I think the kinks are out. Bought a reconditioned laptop - saved $600.

I've enjoyed it from day one, the ipod I recieved was in mint condition, the savings was well worth it. Now i've taken the money i've saved and invested it into accessories for my ipod!! I would recommend this product to all my pals!

YOU MUST BUY A FLIP CASE. THIS IPOD SCRATHES FROM DUST. AS SOON AS YOU TAKE THE PLASTIC OFF PLACE IT IN A FLIP CASE.

I was leery about buying a refurbished iPod but had no problems with it. It works great and I love it. I received it timely and in perfect condition.

I gave this as a Gift for Fathers day and it did not work!!

I GOT THE IPOD IT CAME WITH EASY INSTALL & DIRECTIONS. I USE IT JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY, PLUG IT INTO MY COMPUTER AT HOME & WORK AND IT STAYES CHARGED. IT WAS A WEEKS PROJECT ADDING ALL OF MY CD'S TO IT, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS SO EASY. I CAN ADD AS MANY CATAGORIES OR GENRE'S AS I WANT OR SEPARATE PLAYLISTS, AND/OR BY ANY PLAY ORDER, IT HAS SO MANY OPTIONS. I HAVE NOT YET TRIED THE VIDEO. I LIKE THE 30GB, I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD GET CLOSE TO FILLING IT UP BUT I HAVE.

I would exercise caution when purchasing these refurbished products. I recieved two of them, one was excellent. The other has an audio jack problem where the sound only comes through one ear phone, or if you toggle it you can get it through both (but not in stereo). Very frustrating. Given you can find brand new ones for a few dollars more, it is probably worth that extra discount to get it here.

The iPod came quickly and was in good condition. Besides some smudges it looked brand new. Works great and it is definitly worth it to buy it here than a new one. Also, the description fails to list what is included: * iPod (of course) * EarPhones * USB Dock Cable * CD with iTunes and iPod Updater * Quickstart Guide The only bummer is it doesn't include the manual, but I guess I can spend a bit of time online looking at it.

I took the product to an Apple store, they said it is NOT an apple produce. No logo or serial number on the back.....So Disappointed!!!

I recently purchased an Apple iPod classic 30 GB 5th generation, black (refurbished), to replace the one that was recently stolen from my car.
