just an extra layer...
Not that the iPhone 5 needs any outer protection from scratches with the gorilla glass, I do like this as an extra layer between the phone and whatever. Yes, this will show scratches as compared to glass so I'm ordering a couple of more just to have. The plastic is thin enough so that you don't realize that there is a case on the unit and the cutouts are perfect.
