The metal from the barrell of the stylus scratched the plastic cover on my Otter Box.

I bought these styluses to use for taking signatures on my iPad. The rubber tips are soft and just drag across the glass. Do not purchase unless you are using for plain typing on your phone or iPad. Plus, it costs $6 to return them. So it's cheaper for me to toss them than get a refund!

Great in theory! However, the resistance against the glass from the rubber tip makes it harder to write with than just using your finger. If the tip was slicker, allowing it to move easily across the glass, it would be much more ideal. The small size and simple look is perfect for mobile use.

Some of us have chubby fingers or hit a wrong key when texting but let me tell you this helps. It happens less often when using your iPhone. I don't have to go back and correct anything when I use the Apple iPhone 3G Universal Touchscreen Stylus Pen. If you have long finger nails you'd like using this too!

if you have a screen protector on your iphone it does not work. the idea of a stylus is great especially for games, or if you are in a proffessional setting but you have to push way to hard and the rubber does not slide accross the screen easily.

I really like the idea of the stylus pen for the iPhone as sometimes, for example when you're in meetings, you really don't want finger prints showing up on your iphone screen. SO if you have an iPhone with no anti glare screen protector on it, then this will work incredibly well. I actually went to the effort of taking my protector off and testing the pen again and found it works great, but if you are like me and have an anti glare and anti fingerprints protector on your phone, then this pen is a total waste of the small amount of money it cost. I don't regret it, i'll pass it on to a friend but no good for screen protected screen
