So far it is working great. Our iMac has a deep wide scrape, full width, across the back of the stand. You don't see it, but it shows that this refurbished model was abused before we got it. We are hoping the internal workings were not affected, but we'll have to see. We really appreciated that this model had been upgraded, even more than indicated on the specs. It said it was upgraded to Mavericks OS, but was actually upgraded with El Capitan OS. Nice!

what does this really mean " factory refurbished " ? why am i asking this. is because i brought a factory refurbished imac g5 from another suppler. and when i received it. the screen had a gash and crack in it. if that is factory refurbished i wont buy another one. oh by the way. does any one do a complete check up and inspection before said item is ship? i would think so if they are a reliable company instead of scam artist. do you do a back ground check on the sellers who sell on your site? if a defective items is sent to a buyer. do you reprimand the seller?

It is an awesome deal if it works as well as the 2 refurbished iMacs I have bought in the past. I am currently using a refurbished iMac. The first one lasted about 5 years and I paid well over $1,000 for that one. We replaced it this summer with another refurbished iMac. Brand new ones are not as thoroughly tested as a refurbished one is. Way to go Overstock.com!!
