Not OEM
This product was in fact, NOT OEM. "Designed by Apple" was misspelled on the product and it is not compatible with the Iphone 3GS.

Buyer Beware
These are NOT OEM cables and will NOT charge an iPhone. I get a message that the cables are not supportive for charging. They are also not of the quality of the one that came with the phone. Do not waste your money on these like I did.

doesn't not work on Iphone 3GS
This Charger only work on the 1st gen of the Iphone, if you have a Iphone 3GS it will not work, it will recived the message this product is not support... As I research this product it not make from the same manufacter as the the one that come with the IPhone... so this should not be marked as OEM...

Works with 2G, but not 3GS
Product looks, feels and works just like the genuine Apple product, but no Apple packaging and it does not work with the 3GS phones. That last part is too important of a detail to not list in the title, let alone the description, yet it wasn't in either at the time of purchase or that this review was written. Luckily I had a 2G phone to use with this. I confirmed it does not work on my 3GS, you'll get the "This accessory is not supported..." message. I do not know if it will work with the 3G phones.

This adapter works great
The product description claimed this was an OEM power adapter. The original power adapter with my iPhone 4S is a Model 1385 from Emerson Network Power, output 5V one amp, designed by Apple in California and made in China. The power adpater I purchased from Overstock.com is a Model A1265 from Flextronics, output 5V one amp, designed by Apple in California and made in China, with an Apple Japan logo. I cannot tell the difference in performance between these adapters and hae no problems.

Apple iPhone Power Adapter/Data Cable
I am enjoying using this cable very much. Now I have one for travel and one for home and I can also use it downstairs on the computer saving me time not having to run upstairs every time I want my phone to be updated. Overstock.com you did it again. Couldn't be more pleased! Thanks so much.

They really do appear to be OEM!
Sadly, "OEM" has become internet slang for cheap knock-offs/counterfeit products. Overstock.com is one of the few places where they do seem to ship OEM Apple earphones, adapters and cables.
