My husband and I are on an extended trip with just one car and two ipods of different generations and sizes and it fits perfectly in the car and both Ipods, since the holder is adjustable. It has a simple system and we haven't had any difficulties using it. The sound is pretty good but the slight imperfection could be from competing stations in the FM transmission range that the tuner permits. We would purchase again because it was half the price of local ones we scouted in the stores and works well for our purposes.

I wanted an inexpensive way to listen to my iPod in the car, especially while traveling (which I do often). This product delivered! During a recent 4 hr roadtrip, I only had to change the dial once! It's so much better than listening to the radio or single CD's and the quality isn't bad either.

really fun and easy to use. compact and easy to fold and hide if necessary while parking in unfamiliar neighborhoods. my daughter and son-in-law are Apple fanatics and they gave this product 2 thumbs up and ordered one. there is a modest problem with white noise even when choosing one of the pre-set FM frequencies...i found that generally, however, one frequency will work best and with steady driving, the audio improves. 4&1/2 stars.

I thought the product was ok. I would have liked to be able to receive calls on my Iphone but it isn't made for that. But when I hook it up to my touch, it works just fine. The only real limitation is that there is only 3 preset channels to tune the radio station to. The sound quaility was very good and If you are only using it for an Ipod, you will not be dissapionted.

purchased this for our truck. Works really well. I had no problems finding a station that works with it, however if it is not pushed all the way into the outlet or becomes slightly loose it seems we get more interference. But, by simply pushing it in tightly again seems to help. One draw back is that it only swivels up and down but not sideways which makes it hard to view the screen. Overall for the price was a good buy and I am excited to try it on a road trip.

I was Nervous about buying this because some one said it wouldn't fit in there mazda 6i but i have the same car and it has been great on our long trips!! i love it and the fact it charges my 4th generation nano i love it!!

This is a good product with some limitations. There are only four pre-set frequencies, and even the clearest frequency emits a slight ringing noise from time to time. That said, the transmitter is easy to use, looks good, and is very inexpensive ($50.00 less) than others I have seen online.

The quality of music is amazing but I have a Jeep and the 4 wheel drive handle gets in the way when I plug this into my lighter....so I use the power outlet and it works just as well. The ability to pivot the IPod is cool too. Great value. Thank you Overstock.com

The first concern you should have with this product is where you will plug it in. I have an Escape with a charger port by the radio so this is perfect for me. The holder will tilt sideways if you have an Ipod touch, and can recline back a bit when up so your Ipod is secure.The only downside with this product is that it has only 5 transmitter settings in the 80's that you select by moving a switch on the side. Mine is so close to the radio that it blocks out interference but this could be a problem for some.Now for the positives! The price is fantastic. My new Ipod would not charge with my old transmitter and I needed an new one. I had been looking for something similar at the local electronics store and they ran for $89 to $149. The sound is good on this one, my husband was really amazed how good it sounded. The product is good, not junky, just remember it is a bit old school, with a little flip switch, no fancy electronics. (It does have big red letters on the foam bed saying the brand, I did not like that and covered it with electrical tape)If you are looking to save some serious money and have a product that works great give this one a try. It arrived four days after I purchased it, as usual Overstock's service is perfect!

The sound quality is very good, however the overall craftsmanship is poor. I purchased 2 of these, one for myself and one for my daughter. Hers broke after one use. the part you plug into the receptacle had the end break off after one use.

This is a very good product and it works well with my cars. It even charges my 4th generation nano. Only thing I have an issue with but will deal with it is the station interference in some areas. Other than that I love it.

I bought this transmitter/charger to replace a more expensive transpod model that broke. I am 100% satisfied this this unit. In fact, it works better than my previous charger. It was super easy to plug in the IPOD and then it played immediately when I put it into my car's outlet. I have a RAV so I didn't need to put it into my cigarette lighter outlet--I put it into the other outlet that is available in my Toyota. The side pieces ratchet closed on the sides of the IPOD and hold it in the device. The only reason I gave the "features" 4 stars was because I don't think the IPOD is held as securely as it could be but that isn't an issue with mine because it can tilt back a bit. All in all, I'd purchase one like this any time--I really love it!

The sound quality and ease of use are fantastic. The only problem is that it must be used upside down in both of my vehicles (minivan & Civic). Once that design flaw is fixed, this would get 5 stars all the way!

Don't fit my Mazda 6i is on contact with the stick and i need to remove it before and after looks great but is no for my car sorry.

Unit works well. I do have to change channels to limit interference fairly often. The product will work with 2nd generation Ipod touch, but will not charge the unit.
