It was more than I actually expected. I waited years to buy my first iPod, knowing that I wanted to get tons of space, and not regret buying a smaller ammount of memory that I would instantly fill up. 8g was the right answer for me, plenty of space for movies, music and pictures. A refurbished iPod was perfect for me, as I knew I would never find any iPods on sale, and hate paying full price for anything, EVER! A small blemish is on the wheel, not noticable to most and I put it in a case anyways, so who cares if it has a small ding... I added the $20 2 year protection plan, just in case, and am pleased to know that if anything does go wrong (it is an electronic device after all) that I can replace my new gaget anytime in the next 2 years. The ease of the iPod's iTunes did surpise me, so simple and quick. I am more than thrilled with my purchase. Sometimes buying a refurbished can be a hit-or-miss, but if you do your homework, know what you are buying, protect yourself with a warrenty of some kind, then it is a wise purchase. Why pay full price when you don't have to?, I always say. A refurbished can be prefectly new anyways. Just a product that was sold as new and the customer changed their mind and can no longer be sold as new. It is not necessarily one that was broken for a time. My iPod looks perfectly new. Don't be afraid, go ahead and try one. You just might like it.

I currently own the iPod Nano 1st generation and was looking to updgrade in order to hold more music. Found the iPod GEN 3 Nano on Overstock, read other's reviews and purchased. Since I already had iTunes on my PC, it was easy to upgrade the GEN 3 and load ALL the music onto my new iPod. I absolutely love the fact that I now have "capacity" to add many, many more songs. Definately would reommend.

This is my 2nd Nano, but the larger screen and huge memory plus free games with the 8GB will keep me entertained for a long time. What a value! It looks brand new. I love the green (it matches my eyes!) Why buy anything any other way? The only problem was UPS HAD to have an adult signature for delivery so that detail took three extra days to work out.

I had originally purchased a Sharp MP3 player for my husband for christmas. He was having a terrible time trying to figure out how to download tunes and he just gave up I decided to just go ahead and get this for our anniversary along with all the accessories...within in 15 minutes he had it out of the box and had already downloaded 25 songs from iTunes! It's THAT easy. My husband is NOT computer savvy so if he can do it, ANYONE can do it :) He loves it. He has never noticed that I purchased him a refurbished iPod, so I will never tell him :) I purchased the additional warranty (it's very inexpensive and VERY worthwhile), so if we have any problems, we are covered. I looked at the Apple site first. but Overstock was MUCH less expensive and their warranty was 65% LESS! Don't think twice, get your iPod here today!

Bought this a few years ago for an excellent price. The fact that it was refurbished had no bearing on its quality, packaging or performance. Love my ipod and that it was at a bargain price.

Our iPod arrived promptly looking great. The first time I started it, it would only flash the Apple logo and I had to look up how to reset it (hold down the menu and center buttons for several seconds). But it has worked very well. The display is very crisp and bright and the controls are logical and responsive. The click wheel design overloads a lot of behavior into the same area, so we've had some frustrations when trying to pause a podcast and instead hitting "forward" or "reverse" or changing the volume and having to wait a few seconds until we get out of the volume-setting mode to finally try again and pause. I suspect the optimal size for the click wheel was the size used on the classic iPod. But it does work well when we're looking at the controls. We have young children and they've found it easy to use. And when we don't want them to use it, there's also a nice screen-lock feature that is easy to trigger when desired and doesn't get in the way when not desired. The same is true of the volume-limiting feature. Definitely satisfied.

I just now reviewing this, 2 years later. No problems, still works and is my daughter's only iPod.

I ordered this ipod for my wife to use at her gym during workouts, she uses it with an armband type holder and even with the perspiration and shock and vibration, this unit seems to be holding up great. I was very surprised to find an apple product for such a good price, normally you need a second mortgage to buy any apple product, but this unit was well packaged and affordable, it came with the ear buds and data/usb cable, no software but this can be obtained over the internet.

Not real crazy about a refurbished item instead of new, but it came with all it's parts. Looks new, no scratches, very happy with purchase. Highly recommend refurbised ipod product.

I'm amazed at how much data can fit on something so tiny. The video quality is very good despite the small screen. There are some useful settings built in, such as... you can turn shuffle off and on, in case you want to listen to audiobooks then mix it up for music later without having to hook back up to iTunes. The volume can also be regulated internally so you don't have a loud song surprise you in the middle of a mix. What I like most is that this thing is TINY... really, really, tiny. My only complaint is that the control seems very sensitive at times. Initially, it was hyper-sensitive and difficult to choose from the menu. Either I got used to it or it has settled itself because it is now easy to navigate. I would highly recommend this iPod, for looks, ease of use, size, value and data capacity. May not be suitable for people with very large hands or people with sensitivity issues with their fingers.

Haven't tried the video out yet,.. so I marked it in the middle. I mainly bought for audio. So far, so good. The size is a smidge awkward - liked my old nano that was taller. Other than that.. nice little toy. COLOR - it is more green than blue as the picture presents.

The ipod came looking brand new. So far it works great. I'm very happy

i bought this ipod for my brother as a gift, he didn't even know it was refurb.. i saved money and the quality of the product is really great( as if brand new!) i'm sure i'll buy one for my sister too..:)

I really enjoy the new ipod. I had no trouble installing it/registering it. It was a great buy! If you are thinking about ordering it, keep in mind that it ships UPS and that you have to be present when it arrives to sign for it.

This is my third iPod and this is best nano yet. It works like new, no problem with it at all. Comes with no directions, but downloaded those off the net. Video quality is is excellent.

I love it.....I can sleep all night, listening to music. Huge hard drive, holds alot of my favorite songs, and pictures
