IT is a good solid product. Works fine outdoors. I had read where several people purchased it and used it in the house which i was hoping to do and could not. It has to be positioned properly or it does not work at all and it is sometimes subject to weather conditions in that it won't pick up a signal. I do not watch a lot of tv so it served my purpose. It may work better higher up or out where it can get a bvetter signal.

Before I purchased the Anttena I could get 1-2 channels on my DTV. Now I can get up to 14. Placed it by a window reception is crisp and clear. Worth the investment.
Just be aware that it doesn't come with any cords or any stand, so if you can make your own stand and already have your own cords it works wonderfully.
after easily installing the antenna i found geting 15 channels i knew existed but could not get with my other antenna..Picture is also more stable than before .....easy to install ,better picture better sound and stable picture...i am very happy with this product
I had to fiddle with the direction of the antenna - at first I thought it was worse than my rabbit ears - but after finding the best orientation I found it brought channels very well - even from over 40 miles away. This is with mounting it just inside a window. It isn't the prettiest thing but it works.
We bought the DB2 antenna for rural reception. Currently, we have it inside close to the HDTV and it brings in the available channels. Quality contruction. We have it hooked up for about a month. We are very happy with it.The HD is much more vibrant than satellite- the colors, saturation and clarity is outstanding. The shipping was prompt and it arrived in new condition. We are happy with the company. Thank you "O".
Excellent HDTV reception. We get about 30 channels in Spokane.
When the antenna worked, it was great. Only problem is, it quit working after two weeks. I changed the coax cable and still no picture. We were able to use it right out of the box, and had great reception even indoors. Then two weeks later....... pffffttttt. The only reason it didn't get a 1 star rating is because it did work when it arrived, and it did have good picture quality when it was working.
After the digital conversion this summer, I needed a stronger OTA antenna to receive the RTV - Retro Television Network, signal in the Washington, DC metro area. This antenna is perfect, and it works GREAT. It fits conveniently into a closet or attic, and it pulls in a very strong signal.I needed a passive ¿ non-powered antenna, I tried a few cheap set-top models, and the signals were poor, with alot of pixilation, and in my area I could not get the ABC affiliate channels at all, including my favorite OTA channel RTV. I have heard from friends that this is a MAJOR issue in my area (the ABC channels). I set this antenna up, rescanned and now I get all of my local channels, including the ABC affiliates and the signal is so strong, that now my OTA local HD channels look better than the local channels from my satellite signal.I would highly recommend this antenna for indoor use!
I did my good deed for the day by giving my elderly neighbor in Greenbelt, MD TV again. After the switch to digital, she obviously lost all over-the-air wave TV. I bought her a digital tuner box and hooked it up to her
Antenna smaller than I expected, but functions good. No cable included in pkg. No mounting hardware (mast, base, etc); antenna only.
Who wants to pay the high price of cable and dish networks for all the trash available on TV? I wanted to cut my television viewing so I didn't subscribe to pay TV. But only one channel was in English. So I got the Direct DB2 HDTV Antenna and now I get ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, FOX and one independent station. So, for less than the price of one month of cable, I can watch the news and network shows forever. The TV is not on all the time anymore. I listen to music... much better for the soul :). But I still have PLENTY of TV if I want.
Some channels were not coming well after the switch to digital. It took a little adjusting to get to the correct position best for all channels. Now all channels come in strong.
I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first purchased the antenna, but I was determined to not buy into the high cost of cable/fios with all the trash that is being "shared" over the airwaves. My six year old daughter helped me attach a few bolts, attached it to the cable and draped it over the curtain rod facing the general direction of the antennas. I was stunned. Instantly, I had crystal clear pictures of the major networks and MPT/PBS! Eventually, I might think about getting it 'properly installed' on the roof, but why fix what isn't broken?! The best part is, I am not shelling out big bucks to Verizon or Comcast or any other major "provider". How sweet it is!
simple and easy setup both indoors and out.brings in all my over the air stations with readings near 100%
When I read that it was used indoors and outdoors I thought I would obtain a stand so that I could use it indoors. It works a little better that my old antenna but for the price I thought it would work better. In the mean time I will try to make it work until I find something better. If I find something better it looks like I will be eat the cost. Rita
