These speakers were bought for my 92 year old uncle who has hearing problems. The speakers in his computer could not be raised loud enough, he likes to listen to stories in the news. These speakers look great on the corners of his desk, and he is very happy with them!

I own a tv, but never watch it. My personal choice of entertainment is the internet. I listen to various types of audio programs & motivational speakers. I just bought a laptop this year & the improvement for audio simply had not occurred to me. So, I finally got a revelation, did some research & came up with these. They're awesome! . . . . . . . .and incredibly low-priced. Don't hesitate to purchase them, as you'll definitely get your $s worth~

The speakers are above average but as in some of the other reviews the buttons are small to use. They sound great though and would recommend especially the price is good!!

The product arrived promptly and in good condition. I am quite satisfied with the sound. The only problem I experience is that the control knobs on the front are too small and difficult to grasp. Larger or differently shaped knobs would be an improvement. For the type of music I listen to, classical, these speakers are quite adequate. Volume is more than sufficient. Tone quality surpasses what my ears can deal with.

Lousy speakers on our TV. These speakers fixed the problem. A very good product at a very good price.

I bought these for our home computer. I am not computer savvy, but these speakers are great for the money. After a year, they are still working great.

So far so good. Speakers are exactly what I was hoping for. They are inexpensive and sound good enough for the office. Don't try to compare them to high-end speakers.

In the search for a more full sound to my computer playlists I decided to give these Altec Lansing speakers a try and am quite impressed. They give great balance in sound distribution and do not distort the integrity of the music. An easy recommendation!

I bought these speakers to attach to an old CD walkman to play music in my baby's room.They work great! Exellent sound for the money (I do not turn it up too loud because it is for an infant). They are easy to hook up, and have a good sound for what I am using them for. The small knobs on the front are a bit awkward, but they get the job done. If you are looking for an inexpensive set of speaker for a small area... These are worth it!

Bought these for my smaller LCD TV that had speakers with tinny sound. After reading other reviews I decided to give these a try. Fantastic results for little money.

These speakers were purchased to augment my laptop, dvd/vhs player, and media projector at school. Cannot connect player stereo without additional purchase of connectors/adapters.

These speakers have great sound quality and are the perfect size for my desktop. I like that the auxiliary input is on the front of the speaker so that I can easily access it to plug in my iPod. However, the speakers do not come with the connector auxiliary cable that you would need to plug your iPod in, but this is easy to purchase elsewhere.My only complaint is the power, volume and tone dials. They are quite round and fat, and difficult to grip. I have tiny fingers and had a tough time turning the dials. Just wanted to mention it as this could be an issue if you plan on fiddling with the dials quite a bit.

Exactly as described... Just plug in and use! Used because I can hardly hear out of the built-in speakers on my computer. These work awesome--more than enough volume!

They are easy to install, just plug in, easy to use and have a good sound.
