Recieved the card reader from GGI Gear. On initial cosmetic review, the tinted plastic looks a little cheap, but for the price, who cares what it looks like. Installed the drivers on a Vista machine and worked like a charm. Everything transfers quickly, with image quality being perfect. Have only tried the reader with SD cards. There's no spring-loading lechanism, you simply push it in as far as it will go. As soon as the card is recognized a small light will light up on the card reader indicating it has identified what type of card it is. All in all, there was absolutely nothing wrong with this unit, and I would definitely recommend it as the best alternative to any more expensive card reader.

This Reader worked great with CF cards and xD cards, and downloaded my photos very quickly. However, when I used it with SmartMedia cards, it left the cards unusable and corrupted. Since SmartMedia are no longer being produced, it was greatly upsetting to have 3 cards ruined by the reader.

Works as advertised. Great deal! Plug and play. Arrived in 2 days!

This product is supposed to be plug and play, meaning you don't have to have any drivers to operate it. However I have found that on my system 9 times out of 10 windows (xp) simply will not recognize the device and so it is basically useless to me. GGI isn't exactly helpful either on how to solve this problem, and so I am stuck with the thing. I have been able to transfer images with it twice, and both times it worked great. Wonderful speed, did everything it said it would do. But that was two times of success out of many failures. At least I can tell myself I didn't spend that much money on it. To me it should be a given that a good product will work just about every time you use it. This one doesn't.

I like the fast transfer speed, ease of use, and easy installation via the usb cord on my laptop. My only complaint is that I cannot insert one of the newer SD cards that came with my Samsung camera into the card reader slot, even though it says it's an SD. I don't know if it's a newer type of card, but the reader won't take it. Other than that, it has been able to read all the rest of my cards quickly and reliably in a small form factor.

I purchased it primarily to read xD cards. The reader allows the card to be inserted too far into the housing. The card has to be adjusted in and out to find the exact location where it will be read. Not worth the cheap price or maybe that is why it is inexpensive.

It has problems reading SD Cards. SD port is too tight and it scraches the card.

The all in one USB reader is a great deal. It is a lightweight plastic casing so be careful on storing. It seems like it would break easily. Very easy to use. It's a great tool to have when you so many different flash card formats.

Product does what we need it to do - easily and without hurdles. Plug and use, which is what we wanted and needed!

Have 3 cameras with different size cards. Was using 3 different SanDisk readers. Now only need this one! Cord long enough to plug in and sit on top of my tower.

This would not read my XD card and it went in the opposite of the directions. The reason I bought this reader was its advertised acceptance of XD card. But it accepted my Smart Media card, which my son also has, so I gave it to him. I also lost my 128MB Smart Media card as the top snapped when I was inserting it into the reader...must be careful while doing this.

Good for value extreamly portable. Seems a little too light in weight, but does serve my purpose. Links up fast. Reads all cards described. I would buy agian.

For the price this is the best thing I have purchased in a while I can use it to easily read memory cards from my phone, my camera and my gaming system. Great buy!!

This is worth the money, it works great. It also hooks up to my computer system and makes it so much easier for me to see the photos taken also.

My 2 year old has misplaced my other card reader, so after getting sticker shock at the local camera stores, I ordered this one for half the price, and it works great!

this one is easy to use plug and play reads all the cards an extremely good value.
