worst item I have ever bought! worked for only one day!

I got this for my daugther for a road trip to Lexington. She likes to listen to certain songs over and over and over and over....and while these are great songs that I like, I can only handle so much before I want a little variety. She is 5, and she has no trouble operating the unit by herself. Setup was easy and it was just what I was looking for at an excellent price.

I am not happy with this product. I am not able to download any music onto it, which is the reason I bought it. What good is an MP3 player that doesn't play!

Made a great christmas present for my nephew. He gave me song titles and I loaded and shipped it to him. He loves it.

I purchased as gifts for my teen class. They had a problem reading the directions to understand how to use the IPod. The headphones lasted for three days and had to be replaced. The value is worthwhile. The features are good, but not the best for a teen or child usage. More adult very careful usage.

This product is great for my son and is fairly easy to use. The price was very good too.

I picked this up after finding a couple in a local store. The ones from the local store where about the same price and easy to use. I thought this would be the same, but I was wrong. The glass-like cover fell off sometime during shipping so I had to re-glue that on right out of the box. The main selection button is plastic and not accurate. For whatever reason, this one goes through batteries like candy. All my other ones need a new battery about every 10 to 14 days. This one has been averaging a battery every other day. Please note, same usage time for all. I can not say why, but I would not bother with this brand.

a little hard to figure out, but great product for the cost

I selected this device for my aunt who wanted a player for when she travels. She was very pleased with the sound quanity and small size. Operating it has been a little difficult for her but she does not mind with the low price she paid for it. The only down side is the ear buds are big and hard, not very comfortable.

This was a good deal so I ordered it to listen to music to and from work while driving. But after about 3 weeks, the side button that switches the songs got wore out and now only works intermittently and most times have to push it in very hard to get it to work. I'm thinking about returning it. Not as durable as I would have expected although it was very gently used.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew. Its perfect for kids and teens. Would recommend this product to anyone.

Call me slow....but this is the first MP3 player I've bought, so know that I don't have experience with players like the Nano, etc. The users manual is written in pseudo english/chinese - so the directions aren't exactly clear, especially when it comes to the meaning of "push" vs. "press". The earbuds, FM, and voice recording quality seems very good to me. I haven't downloaded music to it yet, so I can't comment on that. It uses-up the 1 AAA battery rather fast IMO....only lasted about a 1.5 wks with sporadic use, so if I used it 8 hrs a day, I'd bet that the battery would run out pretty fast. I'd give it an overall of 3.5 stars.

I purchased several of these for gifts .And every one loved the raido and recorder besides the player. The space for storing files of music is wonderfull. Thank You

great price for a 512 mp3. i bought three one for my mom (technology challenged) and one for my niece and one for my nephew (both under 12 years old) a much better idea then spending over a hundred on a big name brand.

Good sound quality, decent battery life, cheap but get the job done. A nice player and a great value!

I really don't like how you have to continously replace the batterie. Hopefully i can find a way to listen to the MP3 player w/o batteries. I let the MP3 charge all day then it still doesn't play w/o the batteries.

This is not what I expected. I've decided to return it. I would recommend it for a young child as a toy, but this isn't acceptable for an older child, or an adult as far as I am concerned. Sorry Overstock, this is one I can't keep.
