the screen comes on and is digitally crooked...and upside down to boot! Its awful wont perform any functions and wont even go to the radio or anything. A piece of junk i am upset about having to hassle and lose money to return. Had to return a coat that was too large and had no option to exchange, so had to lose over ten dollars of the purchase price just to return it. And still havent gotten my money back for that...so I am mad about having to deal with this again. Love overstock...TERRIBLE return policies.

In theory, this is a good bargain. Not so much in practice.In a nutshell, the teeny tiny plastic nubs which hold on the battery cover snapped off when putting it back on after inserting the batteries for the first time. Oh, and you may be asking, "what batteries?" Yeah, neither the Overstock.com listing nor the packing of this item mention that the unit uses one AAA battery.Also, it wouldn't take nearly the amount of files that the space would indicate. But after reformatting, it did.If you're looking for an mp3 player for under $20, you may still consider this. You may have to wrap some tape around the case if the battery door snaps its pegs. But if you can live with that, it might not be a bad deal. It does have some very desirable features, but if it falls apart immediately, I can't give it an overall rating higher than 2-stars.

Both MP3 players malfunction and will not play music. One of them kept locking up computer so I am returning items for a refund.

This little recorder has more features than I expected. Once you get used to all the tiny controls, it's easy to handle. If I lost this, I wouldn't panic as it is cheap enough to replace.
