I ordered this item for my son's birthday. I wanted to make sure we'd have it in time so I ordered it a couple of weeks early. By the time we figured out that the device didn't even work (at first we thought it was the poor directions that were the problem) I couldn't return it because it had been 21 days. We threw it in the trash and bought a refurbished IPOD that works GREAT!

I just wanted something inexpensive and easy to handle to take on my vacation. This was a great buy. I used it everyday by the pool or by the ocean. The sound was great, downloading music was easy, and it is small enough to carry anywhere.

Downloading music is fine but books are impossible. I bought them to put audio books for my kids on. Not so great.

I bought this MP3 player as a birthday gift for my nephew. It came within a reasonable amount of time and I loaded songs onto it and when I was on my way to deliver it to him, it started skipping like a record on a compoent set and the screen went back and it never came back on again. It has been sitting on my table since it was purchased. It stopped working the exact same day I got it. I had to buy another MP3 player for my nephew. I have learned my lesson about shopping online.

it is a good, it is cheap, but holds a lot of songs, the buttons are hard to navigate, but if you want a cheap mp3 player this is it. you can record things on it.

Hey I like my MP3 player alot, it is really nice and for a good price too. Which I went out and bought a new set of headphones for it I can't keep the earbud types in my ears, they keep falling out, but I do recommend this to all my friends, along with the website too as well. Great site, I'm glad I found this site. Just wish I had more money to spend here.

Don't Buy, Don't Buy, Don't Buy. It only worked for like two days! I decided to go cheap & this is what I get. I've had this thing since the end of November, It's been in a drawer since the beginning of December. The Instruction booklets' extremely small print made it a pain on the eyes to read. The CD-ROM's software is worthless. Adding files by drag and drop or in WMP were a snap(No Prob'!). The first two days were fine although I spent most of my time trying to figure out the controls on my own. After that, It started shutting off and going into standby mode by itself - my batteries were brand new. The "mode" button sticks, and skips folders I want to listen to. The only thing that worked was the was the volume control, the multi-colored back-lit display (one color at a time), the equalizer settings, and the hold button. I barely got a signal for the radio. Still, you get what you pay for. I'll reluctantly spend a lot more for something "name brand" with a warranty. This only good as a portable (2GB)USB drive. Player came with ear-buds, user manual, driver setup software, and a USB extender cord.Thumbs down to the manufacturer, not Overstock. I'm happy with my other purchases from Overstock.

Pretty good overall product. Features are a plus. FM raddio with prests and audio recorder are handy. You must read the direction because operation without is very difficult. Battery charges by connectiong to computer amd dpoes not need to be replaced. However it will discharge without being turned on. Charge before using about one hour. Discharge rate low approx 2 hrs of playing time

The screen is small and unreadable. There are no instructions. The rocker control is finicky, and the single button control is useless. The controls, except for turning it on and off and the volume, are not obvious at all.

This is a low quality device, not much of a bargain. What really disappointed me was the software and instruction manual. The instruction booklet was an obvious translation from Chinese, I assume, into broken English. It took a phone call to a VERY HELPFUL OVERSTOCK.COM SUPPORT DEPT to figure out how this thing was supposed to work.
