It's a great little mp3 player, but it is kind of confusing, for a person who knows little to nothing of computers, no less. I would recommend purchasing this, mostly b/c of price, but if you don't mind paying more, I would suggest doing it. Either way, this is an excellent buy.

I bought two of these for my kids who are under 10 and they're so easy to use. I wanted one that will be easy to manage and small for my daughters. I played around with it for while just to get the hang of it and it works well. It was so easy to download the music and to set the settings for them. I'm pleased with my purchase and I can't wait for my daughters to enjoy their new mp3.

the manual is poorly written and the display is difficult to read, i think i would have been better off spending a little more for a better device. i purchased this to use in the gym while i worked out. the sound quality through the ear phones require almost full volume to hear over normal noise levels.

I bought this for Christmas for 2 of my children, 10 and 12. They were able to figure out how to work these by themselves. I am very happy with th product and since I gave them to my kids, the price is great in case they do something to the itme, I did not spend that much on it.

Came rapidly. plenty of feedback on the shipping notification product was as advertized. slightly disappointed that the FM would not pick-up clearly inside the gym. A metal building. Plays well. good price, on older item with more limited memory size. Clearly identified in ad.

I bought this player for myself to use at work while on the computer all day. I wanted something simple, not too expensive and easy to use. I made a mistake with this one. While it was inexpensive, the FM radio on the player did not work at all. The antenna was too poor to receive any reception at all. Also, I was required to use a CD to install a program into my computer in order to download any songs. This product was not as simple as I thought it would be.

I bought this as a "new" not refurbished item - yet is came as "refurbished". It had Kenny G and some other stuff downloaded but those songs didn't work and nothing else would download either. Haven't tried the stereo but that's not what I bought it for. Don't waste your money on this one.

This was my first mp3 player. I've had it about 8 months. Much of that time I didn't use it. But recently I decided that I was going to be the victor against the technology. But that has not worked. The lcd screen no longer works so I have no idea what mode it is in unless I just happen to hit a FM station or the music. The instructions are written in very tiny lettering. I even tried enlarging them on my copier but the images just break up. Unless you have a young person that is very familiar with this technology, this is not a good purchase. I am very disappointed.

ve been looking into ipods forever then i decided that all i neede was an mp3 player. this one was perfect although the manual is very hard to read and understand trhe player is relitvly easy to figure out how to use. at a great and cheap price this player is well worth the price.

I'm a little disappointed with this product. I'm not sure that it's mine alone that's defective, but here are the issues:
-storage is 1GB, but I cannot seem to upload more than ~600MB. While the space is seen as free, an error prevents me from adding more music.
-the random selection is sketchy at best. Sometimes a song will play back to back, and it seems that only a handful of songs are cycled through. Not very random at all.
-the unit shuts off sometimes on its own
-instruction manual, although it seems quite extensive, is not very user friendly
I think that may be it for the moment.
Sound quality seems okay, although I'm not using the included headphones.
I suppose it is worth the Overstock price

My kids have difficulty advancing to the songs they want to hear. The one-button operation is confusing sometimes to me. Overall, the device produces a good sound and is worth the price.

it is ok . it is difficult to operate. the buttons to operate the mp3 player is set up badly. when you try to fast forward it goes to the other functions instead. my husband does not like it at all. but it was a good value and has good sound quality.
