The stands work very well with the Sony speakers I bought. My only complaint was they came without directions...which left me to figure out how all the small parts in the bag should be used to put the stands together. Once I figured it all out, the stand worked very well. I got four of these for what just a pair of name brand stands would have cost...and these work just as well as the more expensive stands would have worked. They do the job holding mini-speakers. I doubt they could hold anything larger.

The most amazing stands, tranforms the whole house into a theater, very easy to assemble, took me 5 minutes, and very nice design, you can pay double for the same quality mounts.

Speaker stands are:Flimsy, chintzy and poorly made.Stands have plastic brackets at the highest stress point which bend and sway.Would not buy the product unless youtr speakers weight 1 pound or less. Box was even poor, fell completely apart in the shipping box. Will probably use the base and reconfigure the mount .

this product is an excellent alternative to the brand name speaker stand. For close to $40, it will support your needs. The style is simple and slick. The color perfectly matches my Sony HT-DDW790 home theater system. When I get to budget again, I will buy another pair for my other satellite small speakers.

The speaker stands are a good value, especially with the low shipping cost of Overstock. They are easy to assemble, with off-set stem design to counter-balance the speaker weight. The whole design of the speaker stands made them a good value.

The speaker mounts that are on top of the stands are very poor in quality and do not fasten well to the stand...needs to be redesigned.

Overall I am happy with the product. The delivery time was great (1-2 days). Installation took no time, but I would like it better if the speakers were a little more secure. The stands themselves are pretty stable, but the way the speakers fit is not as secure as I would like them to be. Since they are out of the way, not in an area where they can easily be bumped they are okay.

We had to return these speaker stands, because they were top heavy once the speakers from our home theater system were mounted. They wouldn't hold the speakers. We looked at the weights on the bottom, and they weren't even the same for both stands. One weight was smaller. My husband tried for a good 2 hours to get them to work, as they are nice looking, but unless you want them to lean against a wall, they won't hold up the speakers. Look closely before you purchase these to make sure you have small sleak speakers to mount on these.
