Customer Reviews
When I buy any electronics product, I take my time making a decision. I shop, I compare, I research manufacturer's sites (I love that O provides those in the descriptions), then I shop, I compare some more. I know for a fact that I got the best price at O. I'm really pleased with the product...I've edited many photos with it, and I'm impressed by how it works. It does take a little getting used to though. I chose this tablet for it's size, b/c it works on Vista, and for the software that it came with. I think I could've gotten by with the smaller tablet...this one is much bigger than I expected, but maybe I would've thought I needed the bigger one if I had gotten the smaller one (can't know now). It works great on my Vista machine and didn't have to download any additional drivers or software...it came with everything I needed for install right out of the box. There was a very brief quick start guide for connecting the tablet (not a big manual), but I didn't even need that...installation was a intuitive. I haven't programmed the quick buttons yet, so I might need to search the manufacturer's website for instructions on that...if I ever get around to it...I haven't needed them thus far. Finally, I specifically wanted the Ulead (Corel) PhotoImpact software b/c I prefer it over Photoshop. There was no manual for the software, which I didn't need b/c I have an earlier edition PhotoImpact manual. The handwriting software is good, but I don't use it often as I really just wanted the tablet for editing photos, which as already stated it is great for. I don't use the mouse at all b/c you have to use the tablet as a mousepad and the tablet is too big for that (if I had gotten the smaller tablet, I probably would use the wireless mouse). If I had this to do again, the only thing I might do differently is purchase the smaller tablet...otherwise, I would definitely stick with Adesso and O.
