Ok, I new that the "glossy" HD monitors looked better than the standard matt type LCD displays when I viewed them in various stores and such, but once I hooked this baby up to my new Windows 7 computer (which runs the Intel HD Graphics system), the definition, color depth, clarity, and viewing experience is simply stunning in my opinon! I literally cannot believe it! I'm so glad I took the time to track down the right monitor (i.e. the1080p "glossy" type vs. the 1080p matt type) because it's a sheer delight to view pretty much EVERYTHING on my computer now! I really can't describe the level of clarity and definition other than to stay it's very much "blue-ray like", with vibrant whites, smooth deep blacks, and colors like I've never seen on my computer's screen before! I'm totally blown away by this monitor! In my opinion, it's 200% worth the price!

It's an actual "GLOSSY SCREEN" LED monitor! Ever since I saw the newere PC's with those amazing widescreen "glassy" monitors, I've wanted one. This Acer model is one of the only PC monitors I found on Overstock that has this true LED "Glossy" screen (rather than "Matte" finish - of course, if you use your PC in a place with a lot of angles of light hitting your monitor, you probably won't like it because of glare!). At any rate, in my opinion, once you experience the quality of a widescreen HD Glossy LED monitor, you never go back!
