This was my first purchase from overstock and it couldnt have gone any better. item arrived earlier than expected and right out of the box performed flawlessly. a month later everything is still running perfectly. i will definatley purchase other products like this from overstock in the future..

Best pc for the price. Its not a "gameing" pc, but for movies, internet, photos, ect.... Vista is like "trouble shooting for dummies, words the errors so you understand. The other reviews that were bab about installing drivers and stuff most likely is human error. Talked to C.S. once and they helped me fix the error in 5min. So, if your thinking about it, get it!

I had a problem setting up the computer out of the box - bad system image in the hard drive. Customer service at Acer was a disaster. I returned the product to Overstock (for an exchange) - your customer service and promptness to address the issue was excellent (6 stars). The new unit also had a problem with hard drive partitioning. I am a sophisticated computer user and I am almost sure I could have solved the problem at my office if I had proper support and information from technical support. But because of very poor customer service a return to Acer, again, was the proposed solution. The lack of cooperation at Acer is why the computer is being returned for service. I will be glad to continue to do business at Overstock.com; your response to the problem was exemplary. But I will not do business with Acer again.

I sent back the first Acer because the sound card only worked from the front imputs. The replacement Computer sound card worked from the front and the rear for about 1 week then both went out. Even though it has several expansion slots it does not provide cabeling or power for more the 1 hard drive and 1 DVD,

Actually the computer is great it is getting all the hardware and software to work. As I added drivers for printer and broadband the problems began. The two main issues : DVD/ RW conflict with Vista. Once you start adding peripherls the DVD/CD is not responsve. Also could not get on line with lan connection., had to install a PCI card. Have a return authorization to send back to Acer since it is still under warranty. Hopefully they will correct all the compatibility issues.
