Customer Reviews
Upgraded old Intel onboard graphics on Dell 2400 with the ATI Radeon 9200 Video Card. Installation was a breeze. Nice graphics and does an excellent job playing video and with standard web graphics. Not for high end gaming but a real nice little upgrade for the price.

You don't get the store packaging, just a disk and a card. The disk was not self booting and there were no directions so I had to fish around and load the drivers by clicking on the right installer for my operating system. I feel like it was a fair deal. I got what I expected.

The card may be great, but I'll never know. Upon following the installation instructions to the letter, the monitor displayed nothing but random patterns. I could still plug the monitor into the Dell on board video, but couldn't change the bios back to the factory settings because all the start screens were no longer displayed. As a bonus, at some point in the ATI installation the Ethernet card in the Dell Dimension disappeared and could not be reinstalled, so I had no high speed internet access. The solution to the problem ended up being a new computer. Bottom line...........If you want to improve the graphics capabilities of an older Dell, try a different card. PS I've worked with computers for over 20 years and have successfully added/removed assorted hardware dozens of times. This is the first time I've been outright defeated in the attempt at adding hardware.

This is a pretty straightforward video card, just take it out of the packaging and plug it in. Nothing special about it, just what one needs to get a higher quality picture on older desktop models. Rather reliable and provides crisp, clear picture. A snap to install and comes with CD with driver software ... you can also search online at ATI for updated drivers and software. Overall a pretty solid product at a very, very good value.
