I love the phone, once I got it working. It was sent with a dead battery. I had to order the battery on-line because no local stores carried it. The battery cost me almost as much as the phone, however, you would not be able to get this phone for as little as I paid even with the extra expense of the battery.
Sound quality is much better than the GE phone I replaced, which was twice as expensive and broke after two years. It doesn't have a "Do Not Disturb" button which I miss, because it takes several steps to turn off the ringer. I tried to change the incoming ring tone but it always defaults to the same one, which I can live with. Overall, great value for the money.
i was very skeptical of buying a refurbished phone but the price was definitely right...i only needed one phone, not a cordless set for other places in my home...the phone is fabulous...ease of setting up and using has been perfect. the features all work and the audio quality is great. one small glitch...the wall mount did not come with the phone...was not included in the packaging.
