This is the second Aitech scan converter I have purchased. I am very happy with this one. It is versatile and fairly easy to use. Using it with a laptop one does need to know how to switch from the lcd screen on the laptop to the vga connector (usually by using a 2 key combination on the keyboard). This scan converters maximum resolution is 1024X768, some people may want something higher. Also, use the S-Video output for a little clearer picture. Don't expect a high definition picture at 1024X768 resolution. If the computer is set to a higher resolution the tv will just display lines. Once you get that set right the converter does exactly what it is designed to do - display a computer on a t.v.
