i might not have read description fully, but the title "ac to dc car charger socket adapter" is misleading. i have a air pump with a car socket i wanted to plug into a wall. the "adapter" is only for cell phone chargers. doesn't serve the purpose i needed it for

I bought this car charger socket adapter because I lost a previous one. I have found this adapter to be helpful while traveling because I do not have to bring my AC adapter with me. It can be used with any car adapter, so that I can charge my GPS, cell phone, etc without having to have the specific AC adapter for each. A very handy thing to have.

I purchased this item so that I could charge my cell phone and GPS in the house. This adapter works exactly as described. I had priced other socket adapters but this one was very reasonable and works fine. I've never been disappointed in any Overstock purchase.

This was very helpful when had multiple devices used in the car while traveling. It was great to be able to use one connection to use the devices (i.e, GPS, cooler, phone) in the hotel room. At home, it is very handy when you can't find the right adapter. Being compact, it is easy to put to use in the office.

I have seen similar products listed for 3 times the amount and was a little weary of the price, but so far there have been no problems at all. I have used this several times now. I keep it in my car and don't have to always worry about remembering to bring my plug in charger for my personal cell phone and it's great to charge my work phone since my plug in charger is kept at work. It is a great convenience to have for such a small price.

This item worked as claimed on most devices which could be charged or operated by drawing power from an auto's 12 Volt cigarette lighter socket. However, it would not power the main device I wanted to use it with-my mp3 player. Still, it worked with other devices and is well worth the price. Shipping was very prompt.

A great devise! Every new gps should come with it. It does exactly what it is intended for, and it does it well. No more running down the car battery to program destinations.Thank you Overstock.com, I wishI had known about it sooner, but I am very glad I finally bought it from you!
