the security bar, security loops and hanging mount seem a bit flimsy but otherwise attention to detail is good.

It was cheaper on Ovestock. It was easy to put up if you measure correctly. We made the mistake of putting the mount where we thought we wanted the TV to hang but what you need to do is figure out where the connecting brackets hook to the tv and then measure from the ceiling etc. We had to move the mount down a couple inches because we have lower ceilings in the basement and the tv didn't fit on the bracket without hitting the ceiling.

It's a awesome item for a cheap price. Was able to mount it myself after figuring out on how to do it since I'm the only who mounted it close to the ceiling just outside my closet. I hope they would include an instruction on how to mount it by 1 person. This item is quite heavy and if you are going to place it on a elevated area higher than 6feet it's gonna be a task. What I did was disassembled the base plate so that it wouldnt be heavy and mark the holes in the wall.

First time I installed this item and I was a little unsure of a ceiling install (weight factor). But the hardware is heavy duty and the supplied bolts and anchors ensures you can install into concrete and wood. I hung a 50" plasma, weight about 50lbs, in an hour. There is additional hardware to lock the TV into place so it can not fall out. You can even use a small lock to prevent tampering with removal of the TV. Highly recommend. Great price!!

You will not find a 35 foot high speed HDMI cable in any store for ***. Cheapest i found was in the ***range for a 25 foot one and it wasn't high speed. Overstock is the best place to find all you flat panel TV peripherals. I also ordered a ceiling mount for around ***. Expect to pay *** in the stores. Its ridiculous how much stores charge for these items, its like they get their products from overstock and marked them up for resale! Join club o and reap the benefits. I saved so much money and gained an extra *** in points :-D Fast shipping too. I saw my small package exchange hands from a private carrier to USPS in order to speed my shipping up while keeping cost low for us.

Used to mount a 23" LCD. This is a very well built unit. I was at *** and looked at their $90.00 one and this one is just as nice. The only defect: There are little black plastic trim pieces used to cover the top and bottom end of the bracket hinges. The one on the bottom nearest the TV doesn't really fit and so it falls out. Since it's not really visible unless you REALLY look, it's not a problem. As others mentioned, it is a nice design, The VESA mounting plate (that star shaped thingy on the end) is not attached to the mount. It is part of a separate component that slides down into a little track on the end of the mount allowing you to easily mount or dismount the TV. It makes installation very easy. One thing to consider when installing this is how much wall space you have from the bottom of the mounting plate to the ceiling. I installed it above a set of windows, so I couldn't put the wall mounting plate any lower than the top of the window trim. In this case, I have 14-1/4" from top of window trim to ceiling. This ended up just barely working with a 23" Samsung B2330HD. Here's why: Note that each articulating arm segment increases the height from the wall mounting plate. During the install, you attach the arm to the wall without the VESA mounting plate. You then, mount the VESA plate to the back of the TV then attach it to the articulating arm by raising it a couple of inches above the mount and sliding it down into place. I was initially concerned that I wouldn't have the room to raise it above the mount without hitting the ceiling, but it worked with about an inch to spare. If you've got a limited space as I did, you might want to take some accurate measurements before drilling into your wall. All in all, I am very happy with this unit and would recommend it.
