One of our garage door opener remotes stopped working. Figured it was the battery that needed replacing, & it was. I thought that it would be a regular AA or AAA battery, but no. It was this obscure A23 battery that I had never heard of before. Of course, this was a battery that I could NOT find anywhere in retail department stores. So, I thought I'd see if Overstock sold them, & they did--thank goodness!!! I was fortunate enough to buy these on a free shipping weekend, so the value for the money couldn't be beaten! Not to mention you get 5 to a pack, so when the other garage door remote stops working, we will have a battery to put in it! Thanks, Overstock! You saved the day!

I have am currently using 2 of the 23A (12 volt) batteries that I ordered (2 packs @ 5 per pack) and so far they are working fine. I am using them in a remote radio control for my Canon EOS XTi (400D), and a radio remote flash control for my studio lights. The "10 batteries" from Overstock.Com cost the same as "One Battery" from a local camera shop. So far the only negative thing that I have to say is there is no expiration date on the battery packages. I took voltage readings on all of the batteries when I received them and they ranged from 12.35 to 12.39 volts each.

It is hard to review a battery but these batteries are a great value. They were in original factory sealed packages

These 12 V batteries are a bit hard to find. This pack of 5 costs the same as if you were to buy just 1 from a camera shop. They appeared fresh and work well.
