The upgrade kit contains everything you need to add 11g wireless support to the 3Com Wireless Access Point 8200, 8500, or 8700 in minutes.

Because the 802.11g standard is backward-compatible with 802.11b, you can inexpensively upgrade or scale your existing 802.11b network, preserving your initial equipment investment. Or, add the 11g kit to a upgradeable 3Com access point to cost-effectively mix and expand wireless support for all three 802.11 clients -11b, 11a, and 11g-within the same coverage area.
