Terrible Noise
I bought this for my son. I intend to use it as well for general (3.5mm) purposes. The headset itself has a very good quality sound output but the adapter to my son's Samsung A877 induces terrible noise that the sound is totally distorted! Now I have to buy a new headset for my son. :(

it does what I wanted
I ordered this after I forgot to charge my iPod, and the battery died. this will allow me to listen to music from my phone. I bought this for the adapter, but picked the set because it was inexpensive. The earbuds don't sound good at all, but I plugged in my own and they sound great. This will do exactly what I need, ensure that I always have music available. Just remember, all you can do is listen to music. You can't use this as a handsfree device, the microphone doesn't work.

Samsung Behold Adapter
I am completely dissatisfied, the adapter allows you to hear others on the other end of hpone but they cannot hear you. I've tired different types of headsets to ensure it was not the headset. I would not recommend this item 3.5mm adapter for the samsung behold to everyone.

Not bad
The adapter was what my husband needed. Not a big fan of those type of headphones, and the sound quality is not the best and does not go very loud. However, you can use different headphones with the adapter.

Samsung adapter and headset
I purchased this for the adapter and it works as it should. I tried to get an adapter for my Samsung Solstice so I could use my headphones and couldn't seem to find one... not even at the cellphone distributor. Lucky for me, I knew several different Samsung phones use the same charger so I ordered the adapter for a different phone and it works fine in this one. The headphones that come with it don't work for me.... won't stay in my ears... but I ordered for the adapter and got both for half of what I would have paid for the adapter alone.... great deal.

good value
So far in using these products i have no major complaints. i will say that the ear buds could be a little louder, but otherwise everything seems to be working well. i have had a similar headphone adapter in the past which had a very short life, so i won't be suprised if something similar happens. but so far so good.
