There is no reason not to buy this product if this is the model you want. We needed to replace one just like this and saved a few bucks by buying refurbished. We are very happy with this product.
I j'adore this product!!! I was a little ah-fraid of buying a refurbished product but I have not a clue why I would be ah-fraid 'cause it is puhr-fect! I just heart it! No I double-dog heart it!! Aw-nestly don't be thinkin! Get one!!!

Product in good shape for a refurbished one. Would love to know what was "refurbished" though. What work was done on it? Never having owned an Ipod before, it took some doing to understand how it worked,and how sensitive the click wheel actually can be! Thought I had a loser in this one, but playing about with it helped. Better instructions would be appreciated by the older crowd. Pictures do not cut it. They are too vague. Most likely have not found all the features on the Ipod yet. It would be handy to have instructions where to find the various features instead of just punching and scrolling and wondering!
All in all, I AM pleased with the product and would recommend friends buying one like this.
