Like others, once I got past the users guide, it was an easy unit to operate. The secret is the mode switch. Hold for 2 seconds always returns to the main menu. selecting a main menu item then press ths mode switch briefly gets you to the item selected. It has more features than advertised. Not only can it act as a voice recorder, you can record directly from the FM radio. It is basicly a Flash drive with an MP3 player and a radio added. When connected to a computer it becomes another removable drive, and can be used as a flash drive even if there is no battery. I've just ordered my third one as a gift.

This is the third one I bought. I bought two at Christmas time for my daughter and step-daughter who are 8 and 10. They both loved it and it is very easy to load music onto. It's so easy to use in fact that my 5 year old daughter kept borrowing her older sister's so much that I bought her one for her birthday. I bought different earphones for the 5 year old though because the ones that come with the player were too large for her ears.

This was my third player and what a waste of money. The sound quality is terrible at best, the equalizers are all equal(don't work) and the FM tuner is tuneless. Spend the extra money and get a Sansa. I returned it and Overstock kept more money than I was refunded(my first and hopefully last experience with a return).

This is a very good purchase.Transferring music to it was simple and the sound quality is way better than I expected.FM reception isn't so good,but I didn't buy it for that.Delivery was botched and took longer than expected.No big deal.I'm very happy with this purchase.

We bought this item for our 5 year old son and he loves it and was able to work it on his own without much instruction from us. Great product especially for the price. Would definately recommend to friends. Actually, I think my sister is ordering some for her daughters.

This is a very good mp3 player for the price. I purchased these for all the kids in my family as christmas gifts. These were a very good purchase for the money. I would definitly recommend this product.

I bought two of these for my neice and nephew. They loved them. I had also bought a similar one for myself about a year ago. The instructions are not very helpful, but it's fairly easy to figure out. They are fun to use and the kids loved the voice recorder part. Well worth the money.

I bought this MP3 player for my very irresponsible nephew for Christmas, and he loves it! I refused to buy him a higher-end, higher-priced brand for fear of him misplacing it. The price was right and the quality far exceeded my expectations of this device, based on it's price. You really get more than what you pay for. It's easy to upload your music, easy to navigate between modes, and the sound quality is not bad. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a starter MP3 player.

THIS requires a AAA battery! I can not find ANYWHERE where it says that. I wanted to get this specifically because I thought that it charged via the USB drive. NEWS TO ME WHEN IT ARRIVED THAT IT REQUIRES A BATTERY. I am VERY upset as this is a christmas present ans christmas is 3 days away. I am also upset that it shipped Dec 11th from Cali and wrrive 11 days later in Columbus???

I ordered two of these for gifts. When they arrived one worked and one did not. I had to send that one back and could not get a replacement before Christmas. Very dissappointed. However, the Customer Service for Overstock was fantastic and very helpful. The one that works is great and a great value.

Vepo's mp3 player has decent features for the price and loads and plays without difficulties, but learning how to make it work was not easy. It's operation is not intuitive and took me a little while to figure out even using the provided instructions.
Once figured out it works flawlessly.

Excellent product for the price. You will get way above what you expect. First of all, the manual has improved. The sound quality is awesome with a great pair of earplugs. I haven't yet figured out how to put the music into separate files, so I was only able to download about thirty songs, which for me is fine. Having this ability along with being able to record music from the radio function and play that as much as you want to is more than what I bargained for. Its lightweight. You can put it in your breast pocket and go.

I like this product and it is a very good value. Like any of the MP3 player, except the most expensive, the headphone are poor sound. I just buy a separate pair of headphones for about $12 that I've found to be very good quality - with those the sound is much better and significantly louder.
For 1 gig of storage, it's a good price and using a AAA battery is handy over a built in battery that needs to be recharged right when you want o use it. I bought two and I will probably buy two more.

Okay, got it and couldn't figure it out. But after looking in the manual, I figured out holding down the Mode switch gets you back to the main menu and away I was. Love the sound quality and overall it is an excellent mp3 player for the money. Going to purchase another as a gift. Thanks again Overstock for a quality item and a great price!
