Being a novice at quilting, I bought this in hopes of making cutting out triangles a little easier. It is a sturdy item, but the back is slippery, so when cutting, the ruler will slip--not okay for quilting. Decided I don't need an angle after all, at least not at this point. If I do in the future, I will look for one with non-slip back.
