Very cute and does include the little birdies too. It is an iron-on, but on the package it states that for permanency, to sew-on. Since these are going onto a quilt for my first grandbaby, I'll have to sew on to ensure years of use. Still, a good buy since I did bobble up on the quilt in a couple of spots and these will cover my mistakes beautifully.
