This is the Ultimate Sweater Machine. I am not a knitter. I watched the dvd, read the book all included with the knitting machine and with a little practice, wow!! I have made a baby blanket and have moved on to making a sweater almost finished the back. I am enjoying and having fun learning how to knit on the machine. I am a success story, I never would believe that I could be a knitter. I recommend this machine to anyone, If I can knit, you can knit. "Totally Delighted"

received the knitting machine timely,was very frustrated at first as I couldnt get it to work properly. but with patience and watching the video several times, I have managed to make things rather quickly.

This knitting machine is exactly as advertised. It is easy to learn to use, and I know I am going to be able to do all the things with it that I had hoped.

I watched the DVD, set up my machine and was flying away on my first afghan! All the negative reviews I've read made me really anxious about ordering this machine, but they didn't hold true for me! Just watch the DVD, expect to drop stitches, and to do alot of set up and finishing by hand. Setting up your work and finishing (Casting on and Binding off) can take a little bit of time, but you'll save SO much time in the actual knitting that it's totally worth it. Especially if you have a monster stash like I do. I've got so many plans to cut down on the stash!

just received the knitting machine. Absolutely love it. Being able to knit 1200 stitches a minute is amazing. Overstock gave me the best price possible with the lowest shipping.

I am gratified to have found a machine that is inexpensive and has so many functions. Delivery was almost overnight - no small feat when the destinatiion is Germany! The instructions for set-up are clear and easy to follow . Setting the hem and knitting the first rows took more practice, but I now realize how important mistakes are to the learning process. I am pleased that the audio-visual material was on CD and not video as it would have been incompatible with German systems. I find the learn-as-you-knit approach very motivating - while practicing basic techniques, you are already creating small works of art. I am very pleased with my purchase and expect to make great progress in the future!

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. So far, I am satisfied with the quality of the machine. The Chinese row counter jmps back 10 digits occasionally, but this can easily be corrected by hand.

The machine works as it was described. It is very helpful if you have knowledge of the knitting process and are mechanical. If you are determined you will make it.

KNitting like a allstar. With practice and variables on fancier stitches I'm knitting like nobodies business. So many compliments and disbelief that I can knit the quality and produce with such speed. I would definately recommend and purchase again.

Followed the instructions, watched the video many times and didn't get the machine to work. Very disappointed and upset for missing the dateline for returning the piece of junk.

After receiving my knitting machine, I got to work immediately. After 2 weeks I have finished 3 jumpers for nieces and nephews and working on fourth already. This is a great starter machine for someone who is thinking about doing machine knitting. Must have patience when working with this machine. Definitely must watch the video that comes with the machine but also pay attention to the details in the book. Once the machine is set up and running you can knit up projects quite quickly. I have had the machine about a month and have made 4 scarves, 4 headbands, 2 baby blankets and 1 full size afghan plus have tried numerous different yarns on the machine. Overstock.com has the best price on this unit that I was able to find. I am a little disappointed with the row counter and am glad that I did not buy it separately and pay *** for it because it does not always keep accurate count. When you switch over from the 10's or 100's you have to watch that it actually switched over (example 29 to 30).

Great machine, and very easy to use if you take your time and stay calm. You need patience, but it is worth it. Watch the video over and over, or watch the video while working with the machine step by step. Patience.
