Great paper cutter
This paper cutter works very well. I have been using it for about 3 weeks and the blade is still as sharp as it was new, even after cutting paper, cardstock, and even cardboard! The blade and plastic 'finger guard' (which actually holds the paper down while you are cutting) allow you to slice off the thinnest slivers of paper to get an exact measurement. Compared to the Stampin' Up paper cutter, this one works just as well for a better value. The only thing I don't like about it is for any cuts where you need to measure longer than 6 inches, you have to snap on the included ruler extension, which is a slight inconvenience (I'm used to my old slice-style cutter where the ruler just pivots out). Overall, the the benefits far exceed the minor inconvenience.

Ver handy cutter
Very handy and does no occupy too much space. Just dont use it to its full sheets rating. Construction is a little on the flimsy side, but works very very well if you does ask too much from it.

This is my main cutter and I would be lost without it!! Talk about being easy to use....and light....and sturdy...well....this is one of the best cutters for me when I make cards! I have the smaller one for using with pictures. I love!love!love! Tonic cutters! This cutter is just so easy to use and so light yet sturdy!! If you are looking for a great paper trimmer/cutter---this is the one for you!!!

I purchased the trimmer on advice from a friend and I can't thank her enough, most trimmers, Guillotine or other don't cut straight no matter what you do. This trimmer is a blessing for me as I do a lot of paper crafting and need something to cut precisely and this one does. Its compact, light weight and completely portable to take to workshops and classes. Thanks Tonic for making my life 100% easier, and thanks to overstock for their wonderful service.

Overstock gave me the fastest service I have ever had on the internet. The Tonic Studios 12-inch Guillotine Paper Trimmer arrived in excellent condition, packed to perfection!! I could not wait to try the trimmer... works exactly as described. Just be sure you hold the paper on the finger guard when cutting, otherwise it will not cut correctly. This makes sense since you would want to hold your paper anyway. Outstanding cuts. I am making a cookbook for my granddaughters wedding gift and have much to trim... I could not be happier with it!
