    I am rating this lamp as poor. I purchased it to mount on the headboard of my bed. The mounting apparatus is to place it onto the headboard and use the twisting component to push a screw into the headboard to hold it into place (not drill into the headboard). It does not stay in place and I am constantly adjusting it because if you adjust the lamp, the entire apparatus moves and there is the danger of it falling on your face while asleep.
