  • First class art bag

    Jun 20, 2014

marmow1  from West Yorkshire, England, Rating:5.0

This is the best quality art bag I have ever found. It has been thoughtfully designed and can carry all my art gear for a trip painting en plein air, including stool and easel. A place for everything and everything in its place!! Top marks.

  • Great Journal/sketch book for my vacations

    Oct 5, 2013

kasam  from Friday Harbor, Washington, Rating:5.0

Was very happy to find these on Overstock. I like to sketch and journal while traveling and These are perfect. One side lined to jot down your thoughts and observations and the other side ready for you to sketch that 'quaint little house on the point!!!!' Would like even one size smaller to stick in my purse. So will be on the search for that too!

  • Brilliant journal which is a pleasure to use

    Dec 13, 2011

mrsnumbat  from Nannup, Western Australia, Rating:5.0

I spent ages trying to find a journal with a plain page on one side and a ruled page on the other. I do watercolour painting and I wanted to do little sketches and some colour patches and then write up my notes on the opposite page. The description of this journal says it is for dry media and I would agree the paper is not suitable for doing a watercolour wash. However, it is suitable for doing quite strong samples of colour enough to act as a reference in future when I want to revert back to a painting I either had completed or planned. The paper is very white. The journal is bound with a big strong metal spiral which means you can easily flip the whole thing in half and rest it on your knee if you are sketching outside. There is a pouch in the back which is acid free. The journal has a strong elastic closure which keeps it closed if you throw it in your bag and stops the pages getting damaged. I now really enjoy making entries in my journal and make sketches, colour samples an...

    Multi-Bin Organizer

    Jul 22, 2014

lizzystitch484  from Chester County, PA, Rating:4.0

The Multi-Bin Organizer is an asset to my papercrafting and sewing. It holds scissors, pens, pencils, a skinny waterbrush, and other small items. It will not, however, hold the decorative-blade scissors I had hoped it would, thus my rating of "good." Self-assembly was easy, and once it's popped together, it is sturdier than I thought it would be. I think it's overall best use is for pens and pencils, esp my colored pencils which I use daily. Pens that are larger in diameter do not fit, just slim ones. I'm glad I purchased it, and I keep finding both sewing and crafting items that fit right into it. At a glance, I can see what I have.

    Exceptionally well designed

    Feb 5, 2015

    ttiza Rating:4.0

lovve this cart. Unlike many similar products, there was not a hole out of place, a corner crushed or a screw missing. It is very cleverly designed with lots of cubbies to hold craft and sewing materials, and it rolls very nicely grom room to room. The top even has lips so things dont roll off when the cart is moved I took a star off because the predictably cheesy handle is useless and will have to be replaced, but mostly because the darn thing is so heavy, it weighs 29 kilos, empty. It is supposed to hold only about 25 lbs of stuff and i would believe that, as the joints in this type of furniture are not made for over use, thus, though large and roomy, it really cant hold much if you still want to move it around. Still, for the price, a pretty good buy
