I've only used this set of bags in a travelling circumstance (to a quilt retreat) once, but am looking forward to using it again soon - it offers efficient storage of all kinds of quilting supplies as well as a very large heavy machine with an 11" bed - I'm not a youngster, I have arthritis big time, and I found this compact set of bags manageable - not once did I have to ask my buddies for help in moving it around when it was loaded! I'm a happy camper!

Was a bit of trial and error to get the platform adjusted so machine was level, but once that was done it's great. Use it for taking to retreats so seeming machine is at a good sewing height.

I saw a photo of this at google images and have been waiting for it to become available for purchase! I even contacted Dritz. This is a lovely sewing basket in the picnic style.. The straw basket is more of a soft light sage rather than a yellow wicker color. The lid is covered in a fabric of dark rose and light rose flowers on a linen colored background. It was made in the Philippines. Very pretty.

  • Flimsy plastic...get the metal version instead!

I was surprised to see how cheaply made this thread holder is when it arrived. I tried to use it for about a week of doing machine embroidery sewing and gave up. I tried using it with cone thread on two different home sewing/embroidery machines that are different brands to get the same results. The center post is so flimsy that it bends toward the sewing machine so much that flaps back at forth and the stand moves around on the sewing table. It also tips over. IMO, it's a waste of money. I ended up getting the all-metal version that "looks" the same but it is sturdy as heck and was only twice what this plastic holder costs at the time of this post, which is just over $5.

  • Perfect for my Brother 1500s

I looked at many trolleys for my Brother 1500s. This trolley is perfect and has plenty of room to spare for the extras I take to my quilting group.
