Speedball Elegant Writers -- They just work
These are calligraphy felt markers with the chisel-shaped point. I have been using them for years and have been very satisfied. Yes, I have my old Osmiroid fountain pens and some others for formal work, but for something to carry around in your pocket that you can count on not leaking yet still give you good quality on the spot, I keep coming back to these markers by Speedball. Unlike hard metal nibs, you can rotate the point to get an extremely fine line at all angles, so they work for a good everyday pen too. They've gotten hard to find lately so I was happy to see that Overstock.com still had them available.
