This stocking is definitely not for the beginner. It took quite awhile to complete. The end result was gorgeous. I had lots of thread left over. The kit didn't include lining, but I lined it for a more finished look.

This crossstitch pattern is a bit more of a challenge than I thought it would be, but I like a challenge. Love that the floss colors have already been organized and sorted for you in convenient 'bundles'. This makes working on this project so much easier. The stocking itself has lots of pattern colors and the working grid has very small print - so your 'readers' will be required! Can't wait to finish it!!

The stocking is so beautiful!!! I have actually ordered the companion stocking to start after the first of the year. The graph was very easy for me to read. The threads were an excellent quality. I needed a few more lengths of a few threads to complete. They were sent in a timely manner. I like the idea that Gold Dimensions dyes their own thread. I buy Gold Dimensions every chance I get for the quality of the kits. I have been cross-stitching for about 35 years and am very experienced in this hobby.

The stocking is beautiful. It is not for the beginner stitcher though. Lots of details and depth. The shipping at Overstock is awful.

The stocking kit just came and I haven't started working on it yet, but I look forward to it! It is a high quality item and the threads are beautiful! I love to cross stitch at night during the winter months and seeing such beautiful scenes helps keep Christmas in my heart! Would highly recommend it!
