I had been looking for the Big Shot for serveral weeks before going to Overstock. When I saw the savings I could get on this machine here I jumped at it. The Big shot is easy to use. It makes embossing fun and easy. I bought it mainly for embossing, I wanted to add a little extra "punch" to the cards I make. Now cutting with the die is just as much fun. I wish I had I looked at Overstock first so I could have had it sooner. The machine is well made, sturdy, easy to use and portable. I enjoy it a lot.

This is my third die cut machine. I hate die cut machines. But this one may actually be the one I'll use. This machine is easy to use, powerful, and has a large enough platform to make it suitable for more than just little cuts or embossing projects. It's lightweight and cute - not that that matters all that much to me; but if you like to move around and have cool accessories, this is your machine. The multipurpose platform makes it adaptable for more types of projects, and it's easier to keep up with the accessory pieces that I use most. Other manufacturers' dies and embossing folders and stencils work perfectly with it. The slide-through platform lets you easily make multiple passes for hard-to-cut-or-emboss materials; and the easy-turn handle eliminates awkward holding, stuffing, and starting processes, while still letting you feel the tension and the completion of the action. It's perfect for embossed metal projects which can be done in other machines but not nearly as easily. I debated long and hard before buying yet another machine, but I think this one may be a keeper.

This is a great die cutter! It cuts all Sizzix dies, of course, but also Cuttlebug and Spellbinders with ease. I bought this after the handle on my Cuttlebug broke on the sixth use! I though that I was saving money when I bought the Cuttlebug, but after the handle broke, I found out that it was a common problem with them. I researched the Big Shot and realized that I just should have gone with it in the first place. It's sturdier and handles all makes of dies better than a Cuttlebug (mine broke using a Sizzix original die-it just isn't really built to take it). Go with the Big Shot!

The Big Shot is exactly what I thoguht it would be. I had used it before, so I knew what I was getting into. It works great. It is a good all in one machine. If you need help on how to use the machine there are many You Tube videos out there. If you have never used one the insturctions can be a bit confusing on when to use what plate combo. This is the cheapest I have seen it anywhere. The only thing is I did not recieve my emossing folder that they said it came with it ): Overall great product.

The package arrived boxed within a box within a box to ensure the die cutter was not damaged. I would recommend the Big Shot since it is sturdy, easy to use, and the platform included facilitates use of dies from any vendor.

DO NOT HESITATE ON GETTING THIS ONE, BEFORE I PURCHASED I WAS UNDECIDE IT BETWEEN THE BIG SHOT AND THE CUTTLEBUG AND SO GLAD THAT I HAD CHOOSEN THE BIG SHOT.

The big shot is so easy to use and has taken my card making to another level. I am very happy and would recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this machine mostly to use my home-made embossing folders with it- keep on mind that you will need to purchase silicone sheet separately, and it's kind of funny to figure out how to use the sandwich plates and the platform, but I guess it takes time to learn in. It is sturdy and seems durable. Extra shape was included with my purchase. I never tried any other embossing machines, but there is nothing to complain about Sizzix Big Shot, if you don't mind the kiddish design.

I was hesitant about getting this machine for scrapbooking, but I'm very glad I did. I make hair clips made of fabric and felt with this machine as well as scrapbooking needs. I wish I purchased this earlier!!! Great product and very sturdy.

I ordered the Sizzix Big Shot machine from O.com and it arrived in record time. The price was a good bit cheaper than anywhere else online, plus the great deal on shipping! I have already used this product several times with awesome results and I can't wait till I get home so I can do another project! Overall, I am very satisfied with all aspects of my purchase.

So looked forward to this product for embossing, etc. So far I'm not getting the quality of embossing I expected. I attribute this to the instructions....not user friendly for a senior.

The Big Shot is exactly what I expected at a price much lower than what others are selling it for. It came quiclkly. So far it works great. The only reason I gave if 4 stars instead of 5 is because there wasn't a bonus embossing folder.

I recently purchased the Sizzix Big Shot Machine and am completely thrilled with it. Shipping was quick. The machine works just as described and is easy to use. I use it mostly to emboss and it is just what I was looking for.

I am so pleased with my Big Shot! Easy to use,takes other dies (quickkutz I have).And there are lots of dies available to purchase. When someone 69 can use in just a few minutes, its a great product!

It works really well if you are interested in doing projects using fabric and thicker cardboard materials. A bit heavy to carry around... I guess they don't call it "Big Shoot" for nothing. Great product all around! It could use more instructions. It comes with a tiny teeny manual. It helps going to YouTube and watch people working on it.

Am very happy with my new Big Shot....love using it. Would recommend this over simillar die cutting machines.

I broke my right hand recently and after reading reviews - bought a Vagabond cutter because the reviews said it would be so much easier to use. My Vagabond has a huge learning curve and then when I needed it the most, it broke. I ordered this Big Shot to have a tool to use in the mean time and it is WONDERFUL! With my hand wrapped in a cast -I can easily roll the handle to emboss cardstock and cut shapes with any of my dies. It is so much easier to use than I expected. As much as I got used to and love my Vagabond, this BIG Shot is really Great!!

Product is great, could use more instructions on what type of dies to use. Had to figure out how to use a tray and I used a you tube video to figure it out. It is easy to use, heavy though, but overall it has been a good product for me.
