Not as advertised
I like a lot of the features on this machine, but the description clearly stated it is a free arm machine and made in the USA . but when I got the machine it is NOT a free arm and is not made in the USA , box has stamped on it that it is made in Taiwan. Clearly false advertising . This machine is not nearly as easy to set up and operate as the description implies. It sounds as though it is a sturdy machine and sews out professional looking seams .. Descrition made this sound as though to could just flip a lever and do rolled hems, You have to change needle positions which on this machine is cumbersome. Also presser foot lever has to be operated with your left hand which means you have to let go of your project to do this. Also is located on the back and up high so you are feeling around for it ... horrible design there . I have sent emails of compliant to Overstock and as yet have no reply.( about 3 weeks) I will never make the mistake of ordering anything like this from Overstock again. I will go to a local store, where I can see for myself what they are telling me ...

DO NOT BUY
I purchaed this machine. After 15 hours of trying to get the machine to work I encounter the following problems: right needle breaks/constantly skipping thread jams left needle fell off a flashlight is needed to thread the machine flimsy machine not conistant stiching - sometimes great - most of the time poor when I used a scrap piece of material worked great Then I inserted the the piece to sew and I ruined a piece of clothing that costs $50.00 !!!!! I just spend 2 weekends from 8-5 Satuday/Sunday trying to get the machine to work You will be sorry if you purchase this machine!!!! I have been sewing for years - this is a complicted machine that takes all your time with poor results!!!!!!!!!!!

Love It!
I love this machine. The manual is a must and needs to be read through several times before tackling this monster machine. I traded up from a 1970's Bernette and thought I knew what I was doing. There are settings that involve the transmission and the blade that were new to me and I am so happy with how many new options I have with this awesome machine. My Mother came to my house and tried it and ordered herself one that same day. My aunt is a Viking/Huskvana dealer and she was impressed with the singer machine and the price. It's equivilant viking is over$2000. Buy it, you will love it!!!

Love this Serger
This machine has many new features that I did not have on my old Serger. So far has provided excellent results on my clothes and decor. Love the additional presser feet for some new projects.
