I recently began sewing again. My sewing instructor touted the benefit of having an O'Lipfa 5x24 Inch Lip Edge Ruler. The only problem is that they are not always easy to find. I tried Overstock.com on a hope that they'd have it, and wasn't disappointed. The ruler will be an integral part of my sewing or quilting tools. I'm very happy with the quality, and, with Overstock.com.

You get exactly what you pay for. If you want a good, inexpensive sewing machine to make garments and do small projects, this machine is the one you want. If you want to use this machine for quilting, I recommend you purchase a different model. You cannot move the needle left or right on this machine within the strait stitch. This means you cannot use the quarter inch foot because the stitch it will give you is more like an eighth inch instead. Other than that, this little machine is quite the work horse.

My first project was a King Size Pillow Sham. I quilted a design on the front. Machine works through numerous layers of fabric and batting and adjusts to the different thickness of all! Easy to thread and fill the bobbin. The only difference in the bobbin threading from my old machine, it requires one to thread the bobbin on the top of the machine, whereas my 45 year old Singer machine allowed one to fill the bobbin without taking it out of the machine. Really impressed with this sewing machine and have several quilting projects ready fo make. Machine arrived in perfect condition and is lightweight and easy to use. Will keep the box for our potential upcoming move.

I bought this to quilt a small lap quilt. It's working out fine and keeps me portable on sewing on the quilt. It's a bit wobbly but so are quilt stands.

I use these and the fastener gun to baste my quilts before quilting. It's so much faster and easier than sewing.

I was looking for a small machine to take to sewing and quilt classes. This machine fills the bill. It sews well and does everything I need for the classes I am taking. It is easy to carry and lightweight but not so lightweight that it "doesn't walk" on the sewing table. The only thing I was disappointed in was that the accessories did not include the 1/4" quilting guide presser foot. Other than that, it is a great machine.

I LOVE this sewing machine! I ordered it a few weeks ago and have been sewing on it non-stop. I am a beginner at sewing and quilting and this machine is perfect because it's basically fool proof! I have just finished my first quilt and loves it! I love everything about this machine. No negatives so far. I would definately recommend it.

I got this sewing machine for myself to learn to sew on. I had never used a sewing machine before. This is a great machine, I have taught myself to sew on it and have been able to complete many projects, making soft furnishing, altering clothes, making purses and quilting. Two things about this machine that make me glad I purchased this are the drop in bobbin and the automatic threader.

This is by far my favorite batting and I use it almost exclusively. It's soft and lays flat when you make your quilt sandwich and is a delight to sew with.

Needed a ruler that was small but yet big enough to use with my sewing and quilting needs. This ruler is just the right size and easy to see all the measurements.

This product fuses pretty easily however, it does not stay fused with much movement. I would only recommend it, if you are planning to quilt or sew it down to the fabric you fuse it to.

The machine is an excellent product. I particularly like the monogram feature and the quilting feature. I sew a lot for my grandchildren and thes features make sewing and making things for them so much easier. I was thrilled to get this machine at such a reduced price.
