  I have just begun chair caning,found instructions online,and discovered your product at the same time. Ordered the caning kit,found everything in there that I needed,and caned my first chair.I would recommend this product to anyone.Shipping was a bit slow. I would pay more for faster shipping.

  The kit came as advertised with plenty of cane, binder, pegs, and instructions to reweave the cane on an old English side chair. The instructions are fine, but I supplemented them with those from my handy Readers Digest "Fix It Yourself Manual," which had a simpler explanation and better illustrations. But, the included instructions are plenty adequate.

  I purchased the Chair Caning Kit to redo the BACK of a chair. The kit comes with a 16-page booklet with fuzzy black-and-white photos and diagrams (a reprint from a 1958 issue of American Home Magazine). However, the detailed instructions are for re-caning a chair SEAT, so I'll have to improvise when I re-cane the back of my chair. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of the cane, the how-to booklet, and the tools that are included to complete the project (four wooden dowels and a sturdy awl). The price is fair considering all the materials included in the kit.
