  It took over two weeks for this to arrive so by the time it did, I decided to shelve it to use for next year. As such, I have not put it together yet. It does appear to require a lot of hands-on work so this is definitely a project rather than a "ready to go" item. I think it will be a lot of fun to put together with the kiddos and the little boxes will be perfect for treats as we await Santa!

  It's pressed board, not solid wood. It's all pieces you have to take apart and put together. Which is either a plus or a minus depending on what you expected. I was at first disappointed; but now I like the idea of putting it together and coloring it whatever way I choose.

  I was happy to see these bulbs were still available to purchase. We own a very old ceramic tree grandma made so finding the bulbs were magical .
