Love this template, and use it in my mixed media work.

I bought this punch more than a year ago. I've used it numerous times for scrapbook pages and cards. It creates a pretty fall border with matching leaves to coordinate with.

  • Hard to punch heavy stock

    Jul 10, 2014

    frequentbuyers  from Indianapolis, IN, Rating:4.0

I got this to use for a 25th anniversary invitation. The solid heart punches out of card stock easily...the other one doesn't. I had to resort to paper for the overlay heart. I had to dismantle the punch when I tried to punch card stock because the heart got trapped inside the punch. So if you are a scrapbooker and not a graphic designer that needs to use heavier stock, I would recommend it. Just be aware that the small heart struggles with heavier stock.

It maybe that I am not doing this right, but I am pretty crafty and know how things work. That being said, the paint tends to slide out of the place it suppose to stay in, so use a thick paint, make sure the brush isnt too overloaded and no sweeping motions. Just stipple it on, I am doing some wood projects, some pieces have come out great, others not so much. it truly is about technique.PLus you need to make sure it stays firmly against your project, tape it down if you need to. SPRAY paint would be ideal.

  • Flex Steel 18-Inch Ruler

Bent in the box, but we were able to straighten it out good as new. Nice ruler with the cork on the bottom, but still slim and light.
