This table is based on a sound idea. There are a few ergonomic problems with its design, however, that make it less than the perfect work surface. FIRST, whomever designed it did not take into account average table height as this table is a good 3-4 inches too tall - and this comes from someone who is not challenged in the height department. I've been contemplating sawing off the legs a bit to make it a more comfortable height. SECOND, I like that you can cram your stuff on the inner work surface and close up the top; however, the "flaps" that make up the top sort of hang off to the sides in just the right way to catch your leg as you walk by, thus imperiling the work on the inner surface. And don't get me started on the latches! I do bead work and I'm forever getting necklace wire wrapped around one. THIRD, I haven't tried this yet, but I'm thinking whatever you have inside the table needs to be packed in pretty tight to keep it from rolling around each of the inside spaces. If you are a small item crafter, this aspect of the table's functionality is ambiguous at best. Again, this is a great concept that needs a redesign to make it truly functional. I recommend it with a half-hearted "Whoo-hoo."
